Yarn Along

It's Wednesday again! Just a quick post today. I'm very nearly finished my Harvest sweater, I just need to graft the stitches on the hood and do the edges. I thought I'd show you the beginnings of a different projects that today. I've just started on a nest for Susan B. Andersons Fat Robin. This will be the first of many over the coming months. A friend asked me to knit a couple for her and I plan on making some others as gifts. I'm mostly using random leftovers of yarn so I'm hoping they will be good stash busting projects.
I'm still reading (and still intrigued by) John Banville's The Blue Guitar.
The kids are finally better. Miss S turned 3 on Monday. We had planned to have her party last Saturday but on Thursday evening she still had a tummy bug and was fairly miserable so we postponed it. While she'd recovered by Friday she still wasn't 100 % so we were glad we postponed. So now I'm in party preparation mode again.
